Technology is the medium. Thinking is the product.
Dovire is a technology company founded in 2023. We design and build web, mobile, and AI-enabled products, end to end.
Mission
Ship software worth keeping, without the agency overhead.
Most agencies scale by hiring quickly and stacking layers of project managers between you and the people writing the code. We don't. You work directly with the person building your product, and decisions happen in one conversation instead of three handoffs.
Story
Dovire started in 2023, taking on the kind of work that benefits most from a senior engineer handling it end to end.
The work runs from enterprise digital health (we build the SiSU Health app for SiSU Health Group, part of Wesfarmers Health; 200K+ downloads) to client builds and products of our own, across web, mobile, cloud and AI.
We say no to most of what we're offered, so the work we take gets done properly.
Founder
The person behind Dovire.

Nathan Gill
Founder, Dovire
Dovire is Nathan Gill: founder, and still the hands-on builder on every engagement. Five-plus years of full-stack delivery, including building the SiSU Health app from the ground up for SiSU Health Group, part of Wesfarmers Health, now at 200K+ downloads.
There's no account manager between you and the code. You work directly with the person who designs the system and writes it, and who's still there to answer for it after launch.

Journey
A short timeline.
A few of the moments that shaped how we work today.
2023
Dovire is founded
A technology company built around one conviction: count the cost before you build.
2023
Client work at scale
Product development for SiSU Health Group, part of Wesfarmers Health. The health app we build and maintain has passed 200K+ downloads.
2026
Products of our own
Xpensvault and SongSheet ship: proof we hold the same bar when we're the client.

AI joins the toolbox
AI integrations and agent workflows join web, mobile and cloud. The tools keep changing; what we care about doesn't.
Values
What we believe.
The four ideas every piece of our work ladders up to.
Built to last, not just to launch
The easy part is working on launch day. We build for the second year, when the team has changed and the code has to keep its promises.
Restraint is the service
Build less, solve more. We count the cost, say no to what isn't needed, and treat simplicity as the harder, more valuable achievement.
The truth, early
If a plan is wrong, a timeline unreal, or we're the wrong fit, you hear it from us first, while it's cheap to act on.
Work from rest
Calm is not slow. Panic makes bad architecture; clarity makes good decisions. The way we work is the argument for working that way.
We build from a place of rest.
Manifesto
Great systems aren't built in chaos.
Most software is built in more of a hurry than it needs to be. Shipped to prove motion, praised for looking busy, and quietly expensive the moment the people who made it move on.
We think there's a better way to work, and it's an older one. Count the cost before you build. Build on foundations, not on deadlines. Say no to what isn't needed, so the thing that remains can be done properly. Tell the truth, especially when it's inconvenient.
We call it working from rest. Not because we're slow, but because calm is where good decisions come from. Clarity creates speed. Discipline creates freedom. The unhurried hand builds the thing that lasts.
We're flexible in our methods and unbending in our values. The tools will keep changing. What we care about won't.
We build things worth keeping. That's the whole ambition. The rest follows from it.
Flexible in methods · Unbending in values
